Between Loudeac and Josselin - Watermill 7 apartments/hydropower
possibilities and 1Hectare approx
On the edge of the Nantes- Brest canal, between the towns of Josselin and Loudéac, you will find this former mill converted into apartments. The building is a stereotype of Breton industrial mills, but this one differs because it sits pleasantly in its natural environment, with the canal running along one side (well known for fishing and navigation).

Currently it offers 7 apartments and a business premises, now operated as a "creperie". The interiors work was coordinated by an architect, well known for his work with and the insulation (acoustic & thermal) have had particularly well done. On the ground floor you find the creperie, recently renovated for a floor area of 144m2, a first apartment (my favourite) with a small balcony overlooking the river, living room with kitchenette and a bedroom for a total floor area of 69m2. On 1st floor you have three apartments so one of 62m2 with 2 / 3 bedrooms, another of 55m2 and two bedrooms and then the third of 30m2 with one bedroom.

On the 2nd floor you will find the same configuration, but this time, they are built in the eaves, so that the surfaces areas are slightly less. In the basement you can find, storage rooms and garages, but also the engine-room with a turbine already in situ. The mill has kept its water rights and with a small investment, which should be repaid in 12-18 months, you can generate electricity up to 20KW. With a larger investment and the agreement of the authorities, the mill and its water flow can turn a turbine of 150kW! Shops 5km. ADSL.
