What do you reckon?

Plenty of people would expect, almost automatically, to deal with a UK based lender for the mortgage when buying a French home. Of course! Why not?

But hang on? Think a little longer and the question may well suggest another answer that, as you’ll be in France and so will your house! Then a French lender maybe more relevant…n’est ce pas?

But there is still, of course, that niggle – that coming from the UK – you will feel a sense of reassurance by communicating in fluent English and therefore understanding the nuances of borrowing in a foreign land. Sorry if all that confuses… but let’s straighten this out…
